Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI)
Colmar Brunton has trained and supervised CATI interviewers and recruiters
at Call Centres in Sydney and Melbourne. Colmar Brunton has IQCA (Interviewer Quality Control Australia) accreditation for qualitative recruiting and quantitative surveys.
Focus Group Rooms with Viewing Rooms
Our world class focus group and viewing rooms offer the highest quality facilities for clients and respondents, including the latest in video and audio technology.
Respondents are made to feel comfortable in our tastefully designed focus group rooms while clients can view live discussions through mirrored glass or on LCD monitors in the comfort of our purpose built viewing rooms.
At Colmar Brunton, we also urge clients to personally observe the research process whenever possible. Unquestionably, the insight gained from watching people interact with your product is invaluable.
Clients are invited to observe group interaction first hand in well-appointed viewing rooms equipped with closed circuit television.
You can even scrutinise research subjects from afar. If you happen to be out of the country on business, Colmar Brunton's video conferencing facilities mean that you can observe groups and web clinics from the other side of the world.
We do utilise a great deal of sophisticated technology in other areas, however. Our state-of-the-art recording equipment, up-to-the-minute fieldwork facilities, and flexible technology allowing close-ups for individual responses, enables us to provide an unsurpassed level of information quality.
Central Location Testing (CLT)
With the ability to process around 500 consumers per day, Colmar Brunton has the largest central location facilities in Australia. We have fully equipped central location facilities in four strategic locations. Using BOB, our mobile research unit, we can take CLT facilities to the remotest areas of Australia.

In addition to interview rooms featuring computer assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) capabilities, subjects may be observed in simulated shops, lounges, sensory testing facilities or theatre-style rooms for ad testing - all styled to ensure that participants feel as relaxed as possible.
Sensory Central Location Testing
We offer the full range of research facilities, including fieldwork and laboratory testing. We have commercial kitchen facilities with strict environmental controls for sensory testing.
Sensory In-home Testing
In categories where in-home use or satiety is important, Colmar Brunton is also fully geared to run tests in consumers' homes. These tests are conducted with targeted respondents from our panels and are based upon our scientific sensory principles.
Mobile Research Unit (BOB)
The future of research will involve increasingly complex technology which will be accessible by increasingly fewer respondents.
Colmar Brunton's 12.5 metre long, mobile research bus is bringing research studies to respondents and communities that in the past have been less likely to participate in research.
Our Big Orange Bus (BOB) enables Colmar Brunton researchers to reach the marginalised, youth, the elderly, and other individuals who generally aren't able to easily travel to research facilities.
We designed and equipped this on-the-go research unit with everything that we require to evaluate respondents in the course of research projects.
