Professional Development
We believe in investing in our most valuable resource, our people. Starting with a planned induction into the company, we follow on with great on the job training, skill-based professional development activities and opportunities to undertake external courses.
Our rigorous appraisal program with quarterly review periods means that individual development needs are given much attention and each person sets a personal development plan with their manager in these one-on-one sessions.
We provide a program of lunchtime training sessions on professional topics and generously support external studies. Opportunities for secondment to other offices and rotations through research groups are organized.
We encourage staff to join industry associations, attend the related industry training events and functions.
In 2006, we were the major sponsor for the AMSRS Summer School held in Adelaide in February. We are committed to supporting industry events such as this and in encouraging our researchers to gain valuable knowledge from them.
