From Humble Beginnings
The Colmar Brunton story is as much about our culture as about our success.
Colmar Brunton Australia started its days in 1989, pioneering a new type of research. We offered a new way of collecting and looking at consumer information and we quickly built up a reputation for exciting ground-breaking research. Quite simply, we answered the question "why?".
From our new approach came research that gave insight and direction. It spawned new brands, a new TV channel, far-sighted government policy and increased market share in many categories.
The hallmarks of our progress are the achievements of our people as well as the wins of our clients.
Since its establishment, Colmar Brunton has blossomed to become the largest independent, employee-owned market research and strategic consultancy in Australia and is embarking on a new era of global expansion in 2006. At last count, we have in our employ over 150 consultants and 600 casual/part-time staff in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide and Singapore.
But most importantly the company has a spirit that others admire, and that generates energy and inspiration in our staff and clients alike. And the journey has hardly begun ...
